Purity of Heart Reflections | Anxiety as a Reminder

July 15, 2020 in Purity of Heart, Soren Kierkegaard

The experience of anxiety seems to imply that one has not achieved Purity of Heart. If one really only cares about doing the Good, self-concern and the anxiety that surrounds that should disappear.

The experience of anxiety should tell us that we are not fully formed yet. It should tell us to get back to work.
